They keep saying that we are going to have another freeze before Spring but, (my lily and I) have decided we are going to bypass that all together. All of my flowers including my roses and hibiscus have continued to bloom all year. God, I love Texas!

Blue Valentines Orchids | The Texas Bohemian

Happy Valentines Day to me. My husband did good. He knows I like flowers that are alive. Even the buds on this orchid are gorgeous.

Thai Basil | The Texas Bohemian

(Thai Basil Flowers) I love these herbs. They smell like licorice! I adore my herbs, flowers and plants. I realize I am 30 going on 80 and I am totally cool with that. I love to go outside and check on my plants, rub my herbs and take a big deep inhale of nature. It’s a beautiful thing.

The new Lily in town| The Texas Bohemian

I saw her from the moment I walked into the nursery. It was love at first sight. I knew I needed her in my life. So, here we are. It was meant to be. I think she’ll be very happy here with her new friends.

She has the most gorgeous colors. This is why I love nature so much. Have you ever seen anything as beautiful as this lily?

Lemon Tree | The Texas Bohemian

We bought this lemon tree last year and it was only a portion of the size that she is now. For the entire year she got like one or two blooms and this year she seems to be really blossoming. We just might get some lemons this Summer.
